Library services are a set of services that are provided by the library for its guests and visitors to help them find what they are looking for inside the library. The library highlights its stock through these services to make it available to researchers.

1.    Guidance and counseling service.

It is an indicative service that is offered by the library in order to show how to use the library index and the various sources of information for researchers to achieve the maximum benefit from it.

2.    Reference Service.

It is the answer (by the library information specialists) to all the questions and concerns of the guests and researchers on any subject of books, periodicals, or other materials as soon as possible with minimum effort.

3.    On-going Awareness Service.

Its a service to inform researchers about the new information the library receives, they are in many ways, such as:

-Bulletin board.

-Display book covers at the entrance of the library.

-Brochure about the new library collections sent by email to researchers.

-Display the new sources of information on shelves in a special spot near the entrance of the library.

      4. Electronic index service.

Searching for any source of information contained within the library by the title, subject or the author through automated index.  (Symphony system)

       5. Bibliographic Information service.

Its preparing a list of sources of information that are available in the library, which is arranged alphabetically either by title or author in a certain regulatory manner, so that the researches can easily find.

6.    Computers.

Many computers are available in the library to search in the E-index of the contents of the library.

 

7.    Borrowing Service:

It's one of the most important services that are provided by the Centre for researchers, according to the borrowing policies.

8.    Technical Services.

It's provided by a team of staff of the Centre, which includes provisioning, cataloging and classification services.

9.    Photocopying Service.

The Centre provides a photocopying service for their collections, with the latest photocopying devices.
